New: let new subscribers use your sale code with one press

Subscriptions & Plans

If one of your Shopify sale codes works only on one-time purchases, a subscriber to the same product pays more than a one-time buyer. Subi's Home now spots that and offers a card to fix it: one press opens the code to new subscribers' first payment.

The card appears under the greeting when you have a code or an automatic discount that skips subscriptions on products you also sell on a plan. It names the discount, how much it takes off, and shows one product's one-time price next to its plan price, so you see the gap before you change anything.

Press Review change to see a table of what moves. The purchase type goes from one-time only to both, and on subscriptions the code goes from not used to the first payment only. Renewals stay at your plan's price. Then press Apply to new subscribers.

After you apply, a done card confirms that new subscribers can use the code. Undo puts the discount back. The discount stays editable on Shopify's Discounts page, and if it changed in Shopify after you applied it, Undo leaves it as it is. If the discount changed in Shopify since Subi last read it, Apply changes nothing and tells you so.

Nothing changes at your store until you press. If you have no qualifying discount, you see no card, and you can dismiss the card with the ×.
