New: set a closure window and Subi moves the renewals inside it for you

Billing & Paymentsinventory

If you close for a holiday or a restock, you no longer have to move every renewal by hand. Set a closure window once and Subi moves the renewals that fall inside it to the day you reopen.

You will find it as a new Closure window card on Settings, Inventory policy. Choose the first closed day, the day you reopen and a short reason (up to 80 characters) that subscribers are told. Before anything changes, a confirm step shows how many orders will move, the reopening date and how many subscribers will be emailed, so you see the effect before you save.

Once saved, active renewals inside the window move to the reopening day. A renewal that lands inside the window later is moved too, and a date a subscriber picked themselves stays where they put it. Each move is written to the subscription's timeline as a system change.

You can tick or untick "Email subscribers whose order moves". When it is on, each affected subscriber gets one email with the old and new date, and a link to choose another date when portal rescheduling is on.

One thing to know: prepaid deliveries inside the window still go out, and the card tells you how many. After saving, the card shows how many orders moved and how many subscribers were emailed, with "Edit dates" and "End window now" if plans change.

Nothing moves until you save a window, so shops that do not need it are unaffected.
