Add a one-time item, leave a line out, swap a product and reactivate, all from the subscription page
Requests like "add this to the next order only", "leave it out once" or "start it again on the 15th" can now be handled on the subscription's own page, without writing to support.
Add one-time item puts a product on the next order only. You set the quantity and the price for that order, or tick "Free for this order" so the subscriber is not charged, and the page shows how the order total changes. The orders after it stay as they are.
Each line has a menu with "Leave out of the order", which skips that line for one order, and "Put back" to undo it. A left-out line is marked on the page so it is clear what the order contains.
Swap product lists the other variants on the subscription's plans, with stock status and price per order. A swap keeps the quantity and schedule, and keeps the subscription discount when the product has one, starting with the next order.
On a cancelled subscription, Reactivate subscription keeps the same products, price and schedule. You choose the first order date: the next date in its schedule or another date. The dialog shows the card that will be charged and warns you if it expires before that date or was revoked.
The page also explains what to do when a customer's email is already used by another Shopify customer, and where to edit the mailing address in Shopify.
