Exclude a customer from Loyalty.

Keep specific customers out of your Loyalty program

Some customers, like wholesale buyers or staff accounts, shouldn't earn or redeem Loyalty points the way an ordinary subscriber does. You can now keep a specific customer out of Subi's Loyalty program entirely by tagging them subi-no-loyalty in Shopify.

Exclude, don't just hide. A customer carrying that tag earns no points from Loyalty-eligible orders, cannot redeem or claim a reward, and receives none of the program's reminder emails. Any points or manual edits already on their account are left exactly as they were; the tag only stops future earning and redemption.

Find the tag from Loyalty's own settings. The Loyalty page's Settings tab now has an Excluded customers section, below Widgets, that names the tag, links to the Help Center article explaining it, and opens your Shopify customers list in one click so you can apply or remove it directly.

One merchant asked for this after a wholesale retailer earned 2,153 points from two orders and redeemed 1,500 of them for a $15 reward, a pattern the merchant did not intend the program to reward. The exclusion changes nothing at any shop until a merchant tags someone themselves.
