Fixed

Fixed: the card-saved resume email is now off by default

Billing & Payments

An email telling a subscriber "Card updated on a paused subscription" had been switched on by default for every shop, including the 47,630 that never turned it on themselves. That email is now off by default across every shop; a merchant who wants to send it can still turn it on from Settings.

Where the setting's own row previously implied that switching it off would also stop the related question from appearing in the customer portal, it now says plainly that the switch controls the email only. The portal's own prompt asking a subscriber whether to resume their subscription after saving a new card keeps showing regardless of the email switch, since the backend now keeps that question on for everyone, independent of this setting.

This reverses a default that had gone out to a shop's subscribers before that shop's own merchant chose it, rather than changing anything about the underlying card-save or resume flow. A merchant who had already turned the email on, or turns it on now, sees no change to how it behaves.
