Bulk swap product now keeps each subscription's discount

Billing & Payments

Swapping a product across many subscriptions at once with the bulk "Swap product" action used to drop any existing discount on the affected line, including a discount that was scheduled to change after a set number of orders. The subscription itself still worked, but a subscriber who'd been promised a 20% discount stepping down to 10% after their first order could end up paying full price after a merchant ran a bulk swap.

Bulk swap now carries over the line's discount the same way the single-subscription swap already does, including a discount that steps to a different value after a set number of orders. Where a line's discount genuinely can't be carried over safely (for example, an amount-off discount that would make the new product free or cheaper than the discount itself, or a line using a fixed price on a different currency), that contract is now left untouched and reported in the bulk action's error file with the reason, rather than being swapped in at full price without telling you.

The confirmation banner shown before running a bulk swap now says plainly that discounts are kept, instead of its old wording that said discounts would be removed. The dry-run preview also shows what each line's discount will be after the swap, so you can check the outcome before confirming.
