Payment method request email no longer offered on stores with legacy customer accounts
On the create-subscription page and the contract page, Subi lets you email a customer a link to add a payment method when one isn't on file. That option relied on Shopify customer accounts being available in their current form, and it didn't work correctly on stores whose customer accounts are set to legacy or turned off entirely.
Subi now checks a store's Shopify customer account setting and disables the "Send payment method request email" option when it's legacy or off, showing a note that links to Shopify's guide on customer accounts. On the contract page, a subscription with no payment method on file now simply reads "No payment method on file" on these stores, without offering to email a link that wouldn't work, and makes clear the subscription won't bill until a card is saved.
If your store's Shopify account cannot be reached to check its state, Subi falls back to today's behavior rather than blocking the option outright.
