The setup assistant no longer turns a dollar amount into a matching percent discount
Subi's setup wizard lets merchants describe their plan in the goal step's conversation with an AI assistant, which drafts a plan based on the exchange.
Since the goal step's assistant went live, asking it for a fixed-dollar discount, for example "could you set a $20 discount", could get converted into a percentage discount using the same digits: a 20 percent discount, rather than a discount worth $20. On a higher-priced product this could draft a discount several times larger than what was actually asked for.
The assistant no longer attempts that conversion. Subi plan discounts are always set as a percentage, so if a merchant names a dollar amount, the assistant now asks for the percentage they want instead of guessing one. The rest of the conversation, including any other plan details already given, is unaffected.
