Rewards land on subscriptions.

When a customer redeemed loyalty points in Subi, they received a discount code — but that code never automatically applied to their subscription. The result was a silent gap: points gone, discount issued, nothing on their next order. That gap is closed.
Loyalty rewards now apply to subscription contracts. When a customer redeems a reward in the customer portal or in the Shopify customer-account extension, Subi applies the resulting discount to their active subscription contract. The discount appears on their next billing cycle and is visible in the portal immediately.
Customers can see and remove an applied reward. The subscription contract page in the customer portal shows any loyalty discount currently attached to the contract, with the reward name and value. Customers can remove it if they change their mind — the discount is taken off cleanly, with no further effect on their contract.
Merchants control whether apply is on. A new toggle in the Loyalty settings lets you enable or disable loyalty-apply for your programme. When the toggle is off, redemptions still issue a discount code but the auto-apply step does not run — useful if you run the loyalty programme alongside a different billing setup.
Conflict handling is built in. If a subscription contract already carries a discount from another source when a customer applies a loyalty reward, Subi catches the conflict and shows the customer a clear explanation rather than failing silently.
This feature is available to all merchants with the Subi loyalty programme active. No changes to earn methods, reward setup, or existing redemptions are required.
