Plan assigned correctly when reinstalling Subi

PlatformSubscriptions & Plans

When reinstalling Subi, the correct plan is now applied. A bug that could cause the free plan to be assigned incorrectly on reinstall — in cases where a stale plan log entry was present — has been resolved.

What was happening. When a shop uninstalls and reinstalls Subi, the app runs through a plan-assignment sequence on reinstall to restore the merchant's subscription state. If the shop's plan log contained a stale entry — a residual record from a previous install cycle — the free plan check ran against that stale entry before the plan log was reconciled. In this state, the logic could incorrectly determine that the free plan should apply, overriding the plan the merchant was entitled to.

What changed. The plan log is now reconciled before the free plan check runs on reinstall, so the assignment decision is always made against the current, accurate plan state. Merchants who reinstall Subi will be placed on the correct plan matching their prior billing history.

This fix applies to reinstalls going forward. If you recently reinstalled Subi and believe your plan was not correctly restored, contact support so we can review your account.
