Build-a-Box — sell a box for one fixed price

Build-a-Box now supports a fixed-price box — set one flat price for the box and that's exactly what your customer is charged, no matter which items they put in it.

How the pricing works

• One-time orders — the box is discounted down to your flat price at checkout, so a customer who fills a box with items worth more still pays the price you set.
• Subscriptions — the flat price is the base, and your selling-plan subscription discount stacks on top of it.

Choose between a fixed-price box and a discount-based box with the Box structure switch in the box editor; your choice is saved with the plan.

Accurate on multi-currency stores

On stores that sell in multiple currencies, a Build-a-Box subscription now recurs at the amount the customer actually paid at checkout — matched to their checkout-discounted total rather than re-derived from an exchange rate — so the first order and every renewal line up. Product swaps carry the same pricing through, keeping renewals correct after a customer changes what's in their box.
