Subi can now reach your subscribers by text message, not just email. Turn on SMS notifications for your shop and Subi will send subscribers a text when key things happen with their subscription — and remind them before an upcoming charge. (SMS is currently in beta.)

What gets sent

  • Contract events — Subi listens for subscription events and sends an SMS for the ones you've turned on, mirroring the activation page you already use for email notifications.
  • Billing reminders — a scheduled reminder texts subscribers ahead of their next charge, so a renewal never comes as a surprise.

Respect your customers' choices

Subscribers can opt out of SMS at any time and opt back in later. An SMS opt-in section on the subscription detail page lets a customer turn texts on and add a phone number themselves — and it stays hidden when your shop doesn't have SMS turned on. Pricing for SMS is shown clearly so there are no surprises on your side either.
