The customer portal now shows your own text in a shop's primary language

Customer Portal

If your shop's Shopify primary language isn't English and you have portal translation turned on, your customers' portal opened in that primary language now shows every piece of text you've written for it, instead of silently falling back to English.

Before this fix, the portal only used your own wording for secondary languages; anyone viewing the portal in the shop's primary language saw English for any key you hadn't translated, even where you had written something else for that language. Now the primary language is served the same way secondary languages always were: your own saved wording where you've set it, and a sensible default everywhere else.

7 of the 8 affected shops, whose primary language is German, one of three Spanish variants, French, Japanese or Polish, are covered as soon as this deploys. The one shop whose primary language is Danish picks this up once its seeding task finishes in the background, which happens automatically with no action needed from you.

Nothing changes for shops with portal translation off, or whose primary language is English.
