Sidekick sets up your plan

Shopify's Sidekick assistant can now set up a subscription plan for you as one of its built-in actions. Tell Sidekick which product (or products) you want to sell as a subscription, and it opens Subi's plan create page directly, instead of handing you a chat link to click through to yourself.

Sidekick tries to carry over what you told it, such as the product, discount, and billing interval, into the form, but it doesn't always get everything, and a bulk request for several products at once may not prefill at all. The page itself behaves exactly as it does when you open it yourself: nothing is saved until you do, so check the products, discount, and billing interval before confirming.

This replaces the old chat-link approach to proposing a plan, which is retired. It's available to every merchant with Sidekick access, no setup required on your end.
