Improved

Payment recovery, reorganized.

Billing & PaymentsRetention
Payment recovery settings, reorganized into two clear sections

The Payment recovery settings page (Retention > Payment recovery) has been reorganized. What used to be seven flat cards in a single column are now grouped into two sections: Recovery behaviour (the recovery window, the fallback action if recovery fails, and recovered-orders handling) and Customer messaging (an Email group covering sender identity, pre-dunning alerts and customer emails, and an SMS group for SMS reminders).

Pre-dunning alerts and SMS reminders now render as right-aligned toggle switches instead of left-aligned checkboxes, matching the switch style used elsewhere in the recovery settings. Each customer-email template row also collapses its Preview, Edit, and Upgrade actions into a single overflow menu instead of three separate buttons, so the row reads more like a list item.

Two overview metrics are gone. As part of this same reorganization, the recovery summary at the top of the page no longer shows subscriptions saved or reminder engagement rate, dropping from five metrics to three. The backend calculation for those two has been removed to match, since nothing displays them any more; the summary now reports recovery rate, recovered revenue, and at-risk MRR.

Nothing about how Smart Payment Recovery actually retries a failed charge, sends dunning emails, or escalates to SMS has changed, this is a reorganization of the settings page around it, not a change to the recovery logic itself.
