Customer portal no longer converts Local Delivery subscriptions to Shipping
If a subscriber on a Local Delivery subscription edited their delivery address in the customer portal, the contract was silently converted to Shipping. Because a converted contract no longer had an eligible fulfilment location, its next renewal failed outright.
The portal now keeps a Local Delivery contract on Local Delivery when a customer updates their address, so an address edit never changes how the order is fulfilled.
What's fixed: going forward, editing a delivery address in the portal will never change a subscription's delivery method. Subi also built a guarded repair tool for contracts already converted by this bug, and is working through affected shops to restore them to Local Delivery.
If you sell with Local Delivery and a subscriber's renewal previously failed with an inventory allocation error after they updated their address, reach out to Subi support and we'll get that contract restored.
